Support Coordination is available to NDIS participants who have this support included in their NDIS plan. The NDIA determines eligibility based on your individual needs, circumstances, and goals outlined in your plan. If you don't currently have Support Coordination in your plan, we can help you request it at your next plan review by demonstrating how it would benefit your situation.
Support Coordination is 100% funded through your NDIS plan under the "Core Supports" category. There are no out-of-pocket costs, gap fees, or hidden charges to you. The service is paid for directly through your NDIS funding allocation at the rates set by the NDIA. We work within your allocated budget to provide maximum value.
Meeting frequency is tailored to your individual needs and goals. Initially, we may meet weekly or fortnightly to establish your supports and get everything set up. As you become more confident and independent in managing your plan, we typically transition to monthly check-ins or quarterly reviews. We're always available for urgent matters between scheduled meetings.
Absolutely. You have complete choice and control over your service providers, including your Support Coordinator. If our service isn't the right fit for your needs or preferences, we'll help you transition smoothly to another provider that better suits you. There are no penalties or complications - your wellbeing and satisfaction are our priority.
Support Coordination helps you understand your plan, find providers, and implement your supports to achieve your goals. Plan Management handles the financial side - paying invoices, managing budgets, and dealing with the NDIA portal. Many participants benefit from having both services working together. We can help you understand if you need one or both services.
